Shrine to my beloved R.L. Stine. That's supposed to be him by the way..I never said I was a sculptor.
Everyone thought I was a dinosaur instead of a carnivorous plant. It would have helped if I had time to construct the flower pot to wear around my waste. My boyfriend made the perfect Seymour though!
Audrey II mask from Little Shop of Horrors. Well, I tried. I have all of these great ideas for Halloween costumes but am not so great at the construction part.
View from inside my costume
Adam and Barbara Maitland from Beetlejuice! The masks were uncomfortable, but we did win 2nd prize through our local newspaper! If you would like to take a stab at making these, I used this link for directions: http://www.instructables.com/id/Adam-and-Barbara-Maitland-Costumes-from-BeetleJuic/?ALLSTEPS
Some of the teeth got knocked out, even after hot-gluing them several times.
I had to glue a wig to the back to cover the head band part, and had to line the inside of the mask so my face would get hurt with the rough edges and weight. I'm sure there are better ways to re-create these.
Painted and finished!
The making of the masks. I actually really hate sculpting/making things as I am not good at it at all. The masks are deceptive looking. They are uncomfortable and heavy!
My goomba costume! I made this from Felt, foam and hot glue. Seriously cheap to make!
Ghost costume, Super Mario World style
Ash from Evil Dead. I made this in a few hours. If i had had more time, I would have also had a boom stick and straps across my chest
Werewolf!
Jack Nicholson from The Shining. Not the most attractive look..
